This EP is purposefully composed and produced using humble tools in a lo-fi studio setting. All of the tracks were written and produced on the PO-33 K.O! pocket sampler. I then ran this tiny wonder through some hardware effects for mastering and some final polish.

'Modest Stadik' is the result of cutting through several years' worth of music made in this fashion and whittling down the best performances from approximately 30 recordings. The selections were made deliberately, and much care was taken to provide an experience that flows cohesively. I wanted this record to be approachable and smooth for the listener.

With tight grooves, no long intros and lack of lyrical content, this very much fits the concept of a "beat tape" but I do think these pieces stand up on their own and do not need a vocalist to evoke the intended vibes. These are not "backing tracks" and were very much written with the intent of being instrumental pieces.

I am very proud to share this work with you and I am oh so grateful to have you share your ears and minds with me. I hope you love this EP as much as I loved making it.
